Job Description:
As the Research Analyst, you will conduct market, demographic, economic, and financial data collection and analysis for a wide range of real estate product types, geographies, and client types.

Time/Duration:
40 hours/week

Compensation:

Educational Requirements:
Applicants should have at a minimum completed their undergraduate degree in appropriate fields (business, finance, public policy, real estate) and possess working knowledge of real estate fundamentals. One to three years of professional experience a plus.

Qualifications:
Applicants must be self-motivated individuals with interdisciplinary capabilities, intermediate real estate fundamentals, good oral and written presentation skills, and abilities in market research and analysis.

Skills:
We are seeking someone with the ability to think critically and perform rigorous real estate‐related analysis. Strong analytical and communication skills are critical as are Microsoft Excel capabilities. GIS aptitude is a plus. Applicants must have demonstrated technical writing ability.

Lead Valuation Assistant, Seattle Area (posted June 8, 2011)

Downtown Seattle commercial real estate appraisal firm, Colliers International Valuation & Advisory Services, is seeking a lead Valuation Assistant with strong organizational and computer skills. Previous Word and Excel experience is required, but working with Word and Excel 2007 is preferred.

Additional computer proficiency is required with an ability to research multiple subjects on the internet and manipulate graphics.

Candidate must be self-starter who is detail-oriented, motivated, well-organized, self-motivated, efficient, responsible, and dependable.  The candidate must also be able to take directions and have adequate interpersonal skills.
